FAWOI’s 2025 Impact Report underpins a year where adversity tested our resolve, yet strengthened our mission. Despite funding cuts, conflict, and widening vulnerabilities in Cameroon’s Northwest and Southwest regions, we stood firm in our vision to build sustainable families, protect children, and empower communities. This report not only celebrates the impact of our programs but also the power of collaboration with government agencies, civil society, and partners like GIZ through CHRDA, DIBA HWC, CIACP, iRebuild Africa, ROBOGA, BEGARH, and MTS.

In 2024, FAWOI implemented the RESTORE Project in the North-West and South-West Regions of Cameroon. This project was funded by CARE RIVER to contribute to the recovery and empowerment of these communities affected by the socio-political unrest and Boko Haram, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, protection, empowerment and overall well-being.

FAWOI’s Menstrual Health and Dignity Program in Cameroon is a self-sponsored initiative that seeks to empower young girls and women by promoting menstrual health and hygiene, especially in grassroot communities affected by socio-political unrest and insecurity. This is achieved through awareness campaigns, workshops, and the distribution of single use and reusable sanitary kits. We’ve conducted the program now for three years in partnership with other CSOs to increase reach and impact. Through it, we are breaking taboos, enhancing health, and ensuring dignity for women and girls in these vulnerable regions.
