FAWOI is a legalized not-for-profit Organization working with young girls and women and their families. FAWOI  currently covers three regions (North West, South West and Littoral) of Cameroon.

Economic Stability

Organize seminars and workshops on economic stability and financial literacy for women and girls. Organizing seminars and workshops on successful leadership and career path orientation for women and girls.

Creating Opportunity

Creation of opportunities to increase women involvement in leadership and decision making at all levels. Creation of safe spaces where women and girls can freely discuss and be supported.

Community Development

Carry out community development activities such as waste management, community cleanliness and environmental protection. Increase access to health care services for girls and women.

Education

Provision of educational and professional education opportunities. Provision of start-up capital after professional training. Assist women in business plan designs, funding, implementation, and registration.

Target Population

FAWOI works with the following target groups including but not limited to women and girls who are:

– Survivors of Violence and/or  being abused

– Adolescent and teenage single mothers

– Living in indecent habitats

– HIV infected and affected

– School dropouts
